GIS held its inaugural United Kingdom Alumni Social Gathering in London on 8th February 2013 with a huge success! Over 45 alumni attended the event and had a great time reconnecting with former schoolmates, friends and received an update of GIS during the session.
The gathering was held in Charing Cross Hotel in London with the Head of Secondary, Mr. Graham Wilson and the Head of Primary, Mr. Neil Smith.
Moving forward, the event will be organized as an annual event with the aim to stay connected to alumni residing in the United Kingdom, create a support network for those who are new to the UK, as well as opportunities for the members to share their knowledge and experience, which in turn could expand their professional network.
To those of you who were unable to make it, we hope to see you next year!
