#1 – The GIS Alumni Wellbeing Series with Dr Arman Rashid!

The recent events of 2020, and in particular COVID-19, have shone a spotlight on our health, and made us aware of the importance of staying connected, family, lifestyle and community. This series will focus on the wellbeing of GIS’s Alumni, and is just one way we will give back to our Alumni community for their endless support towards our school.

We have some awesome wellbeing webinars coming soon for our GIS Alumni. Don’t miss the chance to meet our fantastic Alumni speakers with a wide range of different backgrounds and expertise, who will be sharing important tips and ideas to rejuvenate your body and soul! Our first speaker in the Wellbeing Series was Alumni Dr Arman Rashid from Class of 1998.

Speaker Dr Arman Rashid is an Alumni of the Garden International School (Class of 1998) and is the Director of Research & Advocacy, SOLS Health. He is also concurrently Co-President of the Monash Malaysia Business Alumni Chapter (MMBAC) and was previously Project Manager of Buddy Bear, Malaysia’s only child-dedicated helpline during the pandemic.

We would like to thank you for joining our Wellbeing Series event with Dr Arman. We hope that you not only enjoyed it but that you were able to take away some useful strategies for the future.

As our Wellbeing Series continues, there will be more events to come over the next few months, so please do lookout for more information about these.
