Reading Natural Sciences in University of Cambridge, UK.

What does GIS offer to bring out the best in you?
GIS gives me ample opportunities to acquire and polish my skills in various areas through different activities and programmes in the school. I was a house captain, a student leader who held the position of Head of Arts. I was also the committee for the Model United Nations (MUN) twice. I learned to build my leadership and organisational skills and value the importance of delegating the right tasks to the right people because that is how we bring out the best in them. All these qualities are valuable and I can apply them in general life.

What motivates you?
Teachers highlight our abilities and improve our skills and I see this as one of the motivation factors to push me forward to do better.

What’s your proudest moment in GIS?
One of my proudest moments at GIS is when my model solar power project was chosen for Science Week. Back then, I realised there was a huge jump from Year 6 to Year 7 and this achievement gave me confidence that ‘I can do it’.
