Studying & Living in Canada by Nicole Chan (Class of 2013)

Alumna Nicole Chan from Class of 2013, a Psychology graduate from University of Alberta, Canada had a session with Year 12 students about living in Canada. Nicole is currenetly a Support Worker in Canada, her main role is to help and support individuals with developmental disabilities to learn the skills necesary for independent living. “I would say the best thing about GIS is the way the school sets you up to succeed in the future. I didnt think about this back then, but looking back, I appreciate how much importance GIS puts in community wor and collaboration. Styudying in GIS has also helped me learn the skills neccesary to connect with others and through this I have been able to live abroad as well as volunteer my time with various charity organisation.
